Legal Highs in the World

May 2nd, 2011

The whole previous few years could be known as the “age of legals”. Consumers, sellers and producers continually try to look for a way how to fulfil common calls for and requirements using a legal approach. The start reaction was in fact prohibiting the Ecstasy and also Mephedrone through the whole world, especially in the U.S. and EU (United Kingdom). Everyone has been always making up an alternative way to bypass the legislation (remember the Great Depression) – nowadays younger people want to be high officially and safely.

There are lots of goods that you can buy that can produce a better mood, mild mind as well as stimulate you. Need to notice that authorities consistently attempt to ban all these supplementation as much as they could but shoppers and producers tend to be luckily a few stages forward. Its quite difficult to differentiate among drugs and healthcare products for instance – the edge is definitely sooo thin..

Most powerful banning efforts derive from listing several banned materials which illegal drugs -or- highs may contain. As a result, “Legal Highs” can be legal in many countries while in the rest of areas a ownership and/or supply is illegitimate. These kind of compounds can be found in addition separated into several categories – as an illustration, in Great Britain there are following classes from the most dangerous to the least ones:

* Class A drugs – Morphine, “Magic Mushrooms”, Cocaine, Ecstasy … * Class B drugs – Amphetamine, Weed (Cannabinols), Mephedrone … * Class C drugs – Ketamine and plenty of (***)zepams (stimulating elements)

One example for all – the Magic Mushrooms were prohibited in 2005 (British) caused by hallucinogenic psilocin contained. Yet this nice-looking notation stays well-known and different legalised shrooms and also plants are meant using this term – probably the most popular Amanita Muscaria (Fly Agaric) as well as others.

There are still many “Party” pills or tablets produced from both herbal or artificial compounds accepted and you could seek many information or news regarding their abuses. Lets mention the 2 most controversial:

GBL (industrial cleanser) – doesnt consist of forbidden components but the chemical processes in a body of a human will create the actual active substance, a favorite “date rape” drug which is on the prohibited catalog.

BZP (worming cure for livestock) – an alternative of prohibited ecstasy.

If you think of trying selected Legals, remember that you definitely shouldnt mix them with alcohol or another legal highs at once, it can cause you significant physical issues. A summary of this document should be that the contest among the government as well as drug developers even now continues and the developers/producers still beat the game. Now i’m interested in how may the situation appear in the following years, we all will certainly find out…

Magic called Salvia Divinorum

April 19th, 2011

When you have tried Salvia or not, this text should offer you a couple of useful information regarding this kind of mysterious flower coming from Sierra Madre (generally known as Sierra Mazateca) highlands. Natives and shamans applied herbals during the rituals : everyone may remember popular peace pipe moments from videos however there have been furthermore another reasons – in order to prepare warriors for battles or maybe using them as medicaments – actually that used to be the only method how to cure – with herbals.

Some of them were utilised as sedative drugs or perhaps stimulating elements – for instance, Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa). The main objective regarding smoking Salvia Divinorum was to estabilish the connection with the gods.

A number of people think of Salvia to be a drug nevertheless its not too obvious actually. Inhaling wont result in habit, wont hurt the human body like crack will and you wont end up getting socially belittled. Many people say that as a result of powerful trips they are not considering having drugs anymore! But also report that this type of experience is really worth. My personal tip for you : if you test this the very first time – always have somebody (who doesnt smoke this concurrently) close to you and then try a smaller sized serving.

Its benefits quickly became well-known everywhere across the planet. Leaves contain a substance described as Salvinorin A that has psychedelic or hallucinogenic characteristics. Need to point out that this is truly not allowed in many lands incl. a number of the U.S. areas. You may find some different types, e.g. Salvia Officinalis which is used in herb teas, mouthwash and generally it has antioxidant and curing benefits however it is not purposed for getting high applications.

When talking in numbers, some two million persons tested out Salvia (also known as “Sally”) for at least once in their life – which include eight hundred thousand end users during the recent year. Undoubtedly, biggest amount of users is among university students and the younger generation – reports coming from college campuses say that 1 out of fifteen people has got several experiences as well as the level of popularity continues to be boosting – video clips on youtube have hundreds-thousand views and currently, Salvia Divinorum is 2x more favorite in comparison with LSD or even Ecstasy that are both banned everywhere you go.

Take a look at my blog about this with more helpful information. I would appreciate if you leave a comment or a question. I buy Salvia Divinorum from BotanicStore.net – with free shipipng, gifts and samples!

Issues To Consider When Preparing Your Drug Crime Defense

October 2nd, 2010

When you’re currently dealing with illegal substance offenses under a federal indictment, or if perhaps you develop reason to believe that you are under investigation by police departments, the earlier you call a lawyer the more fortunate you’re inclined to be.

Although it’s not as common in drug cases as it is in other federal investigations, the opportunity to invoke a lawyer in your defense before having actual charges is a powerful one. Extreme federal offenses are charged by grand jury indictment. Consequently the government brings incriminating evidence to a grand jury for a length of weeks or months, then demands the grand jury to return particular criminal charges against one or more defendants.

Extreme federal illegal drug charges usually represent proof obtained against many defendants over the course of a long and costly investigation. Although the federal government is a potent foe in criminal justice system, there are a multitude of ways to face and overcome the charges against you.

Sometimes, you will be able to combat the charges on the foundation of flawed testimony from an alleged coconspirator or undercover officer. Occasionally, you can even present the government a choice between sacrificing the charges and revealing the names of confidential informants in opposition of you. In some cases, flaws in the issuance or execution of a search warrant will keep the evidence of drugs or cash discovered in your control out of court.

You can exhibit your most effective defense at trial, and let the jury choose whether the government has showed its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Whether your federal illegal substance case includes charges of cocaine trafficking, meth lab crimes, or a conspiracy, an experienced drug defense lawyer can protect your interests.

About The DEA

August 8th, 2010

Mark A Cella on US Drug Enforcement Agency The United States Drug Enforcement Agency Should be Called the “Import Drugs, Get Citizens Hooked, Then Bust Them and Take Away Their Money & Freedom” Agency.

The United States Drug Enforcement Agency is failing in more ways than one. Created back in 1973 by then President Richard Nixon, it was made in order to lead the “War on Drugs.”

In typical government form, the first act in the war was to become better organized; Reorganization Plan No. 2 was approved by Nixon in order to reorganize several different agencies under the collective umbrella of one.

In the time since, every sitting President has reiterated the government’s stance against drugs and tried to continue the fight. Reagan stepped up efforts when he was in office, but the most notable increase came in ‘89 when the first President Bush was in office.

Mark A Cella the DEA!

In the entire time, the availability of drugs has yet to be slowed down. In fact, the frequency of use and availability has only improved over the years. The United States Drug Enforcement Agency likes to claim that it has at least caused an increase in price; however, there is no evidence to support that claim.

Whether or not the price has fallen is really not an issue anyway. Drug users are not like people that buy Kobe beef, interested in quality and paying for it since they have the means; drug users will pay whatever is asked to get the lowest quality product available because they are dependent.

Basically, the war on drugs has failed at both reducing the influx of drugs into this country and the use of them. In their zeal to continue the fight against drugs, law enforcement officers have been allowed to come closer and closer to pushing the limits on civil rights.

Lawmakers will just say that to win a fight such as this you sometimes have to give up a few comforts of home. In that case the United States Drug Enforcement Agency while failing at drug control, has succeeded in destroying civil rights and the underlying beliefs this country was created on.

Mark A Cella on US Drug Enforcement Agency

In 1981 the budget to fight the war on drugs stood at $1.5 billion; by 1991 it grew to $11 billion; in 1999 it stood at over $17 billion.

As of 1997, 63 percent of federal prisoners and 21 percent of state prisoners were incarcerated strictly on drug related charges; over 100,000 were there merely for possession. With such a price tag one would hope that the United States Drug Enforcement Agency would have something more to show.

Some have wondered if the war on drugs is really just a continuation of racist policies by the U.S. government. While drug use is pretty much even across the racial spectrum, there is a distinct difference in the rate of those incarcerated.

In 1997, there were as many as five times the number of black inmates over white in prison for drug related offenses; since the black population is outnumbered by five to one that translates into an arrest and incarceration rate for blacks 30 times that of white Americans.

Man Caught With Drugs In His Football Boots

August 1st, 2010

Cumbria Police stopped and searched Stephen McRoy after a local resident tipped them off that he had been acting suspiciously in the area, they found a pair of football boots in his bag, which is not unusual for a young man, but inside them was a hoard of class A drugs including heroin, cannabis and ecstasy.

He was quickly arrested and charged him with possessing drugs with intent to supply, to which he pleaded guilty. The court was told how he was spotted loitering near Haverigg prison last year when the authorities were notified.

McRoy was found standing on a pavement and told police he was waiting for a friend, at which point he was attempting to contact someone on his mobile phone. Suspicious, the officers searched a drawstring bag he was carrying; inside the boots were a variety of small plastic packets containing the drugs.

The court heard how McRoy had intended to deliver the drugs to the prison, they had a street value of over 2000 but inside prison they would be worth more than five times that. Drugs are often thrown over the fences of prisons and sold inside for huge prices. McRoy had been offered 300 to deliver them to the prison.

He accepted the charges of possession but Martin Pizzey, defending, said that he had no involvement in the preparation of the bag he was delivering. He was a stranger to Cumbria and had never visited there before; he also knew nothing of the people he was there to meet and was only told he would be giving the bag to someone in a silver Volkswagen Golf.

He had travelled to Cumbria with friends and even paid for petrol, his role was that of a delivery man and failure to deliver the package would have resulted in severe recriminations. The court heard how McRoy was an easy target as he was attempting to clear his debts and buy his girlfriend a present, “he has been foolish and used,” said Pizzey.

Despite his minor role, Judge Pamela told the defendant “I don’t accept that you didn’t appreciate where the drugs would end up.” He has been sentenced to 3 years 10 months in jail.

After this encounter, Cumbria police are likely to be suspicious of anyone wearing Nike football boots and an Arsenal football shirt.

New Colorado Medical Marijuana Law Regulations

June 12th, 2010

Colorado voters legalized medical marijuana in 2001, with the passage of a state constitutional amendment. The industry languished after the amendment became effective, since marijuana was still illegal under federal law. The risk of federal prosecution, even though medical cannabis was technically legal under state law, was simply too great. However, in 2009, the federal government indicated an unwillingness to enforce federal drug laws in contravention to the 14 state medical marijuana laws effective around the county. This led to an explosion of the medical marijuana industry in Colorado. Dispensaries have proliferated statewide, and the number of patients has increased exponentially.

The prominence of this legal drug trade has led to outcry for legislative limits on the medical marijuana industry. Colorado’s legislature has responded with HB 1284, a plan to hit dispensaries with new fees and regulations.

The new law dramatically hikes fees dispensaries must pay to stay in business. The state plans on collecting $2 million to help pay for enforcement of the new regulations. This will likely put the smaller dispensaries out of business.

Individual cities and counties will gain the ability to ban dispensaries altogether. However, individual caregivers will still be allowed to provide marijuana to up to five patients wherever a ban takes effect.

Other regulations include limits on who may own or invest in dispensaries. For example, owners must be Colorado residents and must pass a criminal background check. Investors must also pass a background check.

Under the new law, no medical marijuana dispensary may be located within 1000 feet of schools, universities, seminaries, or child-care facilities. The dispensaries must also grow 70% of their product.

Several attorneys in Colorado have been vocal about plans to sue for an injunction against the new law, claiming that the law violates the constitutional amendment. This will surely be a volatile issue over the next decade.

Ted Terry, Father Of John Terry, Arrested Over Drug Deal

April 30th, 2010

Chelsea defender John Terry, whose reputation has been damaged beyond repair in the last 12 months, has a faced further shame after his father, Ted Terry was caught dealing drugs. The former England captain was still suffering the effects of his affair with an ex-girlfriend of England team-mate Wayne Bridge, when an undercover reporter was sold cocaine by his father, 55, in an Essex bar.

Terry’s father was recorded saying “The stuff’s all right, I get off on it.” when he was caught on camera making plans to supply three grams of the class A drug to an undercover reporter at a price of 120, making 40 profit.

Ted Terry, who’s son is on 170,000 a week, tried to convince the ‘customer’ not to mention where it came from. “This is between me and you,” he said. “Don’t tell him I’m John Terry’s dad.” He will appear at Basildon Magistrates Court on May 13th.

If convicted, he could face up to 6 months in prison or a 5,000 fine. The incident comes a year after Terry’s mother Sue and his mother-in-law both accepted a caution for shoplifting in Marks & Spencer last year.

The scandal is another humiliating blow to his image, adding to the damage caused by his extra-marital affair with the ex-girlfriend of his England teammate Wayne Bridge. The media scandal cost Terry his England captaincy and Bridge felt the need to quit the team ahead of the World cup in South Africa this June. John, who has an estimated fortune of 10million, reportedly knew nothing about the alleged drug dealing.

The issue may not only affect his public image as experts have suggested that combined with his previous issues, it could result in him losing his position in the England team and his Chelsea captaincy if he continues to tarnish the name of British football. After his affair and his mother’s shoplifting incident, Terry has faced numerous abusive chants from fans of his team and the opposition. Something which is said to be taking it’s toll on his moral and ability to concentrate in the game.

Mexicans Share Drink Drive Checkpoints Over Twitter

April 21st, 2010

Mexicans are now using social networks such as Facebook and Twitter to share information to avoid police checkpoints and breathalyzer stops. Police believe the social networking sites have also been used in the kidnapping of the relatives of businessmen and politicians by helping identify the families of a high profile individual and monitoring their daily activity.

Officials have been frustrated by citizens using twitter to alert each other of the locations of breathalyzer checkpoints, they use the name @anitaa_df to message each other and a similar tactic is now being used by drug dealers.

Mexican security official, Ghaleb Krame commented “Twitter is a serious problem not only to Mexican law-enforcement agencies but to any law or intelligence agencies all over the world, criminals, drug cartels and terrorist cells are getting more sophisticated in their methods of communication.”

Criminal organisations have begun to use Twitter and other social networks as a method of communication, using coded terms and phrases to evade suspicion. Social networks have not only been used as communication but also to incite fear amongst communities. Reynosa, a town whose citizens have been victim of drug gang activity, was terrorized by members of a cartel spreading messages. One such message read; “The largest scheduled shootout in the history of Reynosa will be tomorrow or Sunday, send this message to people you trust that tomorrow a convoy of 60 trucks full of cartel hit men from the Michoacan Family together with members of the Gulf Cartel are coming to take the city and take everyone out alive or dead!”

The Mexican government has recently drafted a bill which allows the regulation and monitoring of the use of social networks in Mexico. Under the new bill, helping others break or avoid the law by sharing information is now a criminal act. Authorities insist the bill is not aimed at the social networks themselves, only the users of them but it has been controversial in Mexico as many users have slammed it as an excuse to act as Big Brother.

The networking has been used to avoid breathalyzers as drivers do not want a drink driving ban as adriving offence in Mexico holds a strong penalty.
